..so I stumbled on this tragic story of a young lady who was bitten by a snake at her home. She was a fast rising gospel singer. After being rushed to two mega hospitals, neither facility had the anti venom to treat her. She eventually died. This sparked a lot of discussion online about the lack of necessary supplies in our healthcare system, especially in a country where snake bites are common ..that story hit close to home though..a few years ago, I spotted a big , black Snake in my bathroom in the dead of the night. It had slithered through the sewage pipe into the house..thank God I was holding a flashlight light..it quickly darted back down the pipes when it saw me. Since then, I have seen its shed skin in my room and even caught glimpses of it in my compound My neighbors still saw the same snake last week and nobody knows where it usually disappears to.. It's just a reminder that these creatures are lurking around and one needs to be careful. How are things in your part of mylot
