It's 5 o'clock, and the laundry's finally done.

Well, actually 5:30 ish, but still. I didn't start it until later than planned. I was being a baby. I didn't want to deal with the weather when it was windy and rainy. I still need to take the trash out, but I'll do that in a second. The recycling, too.
George is listening to Hall and Oats out on the porch. We both like it. Yesterday he finished the salad. So far he hasn't asked me to call and order another one, but he did move the van forward for me. Although I think he's in a bit of a mood. I don't know why, but it works.

It's funny how we sometimes do almost the exact same things at the same times as other people on here
I did laundry
Despite the weather took trash out
Recycling too
Hall and Oates! long time since I heard of them
They were quite good

The sun came out which made it easier to get things done. It wasn't warm by any streach, but we still did what we had to do. With George retired, there's no rush to get laundry done. I can do it at my own pace.

@Ineeddentures Yeah. This month is kind of busy with all the medical stuff, but I'm working through it. It's hard because George is easily confused, so it's a lot more on me. He often got confused easily before, but now we have the added thing of comminuication confusion.

@kaylachan
That's a plus about retirement
There is no hurry any more
I found that out 10 years ago when I retired.

@kaylachan What's his obsession with laundry?

@snowy22315 I don't know. I think it depends more on what I'm washing. Sometimes he'll go through pants and shirts because of the healing process. He's gotten better about not soiling himself as much during the day, but it does happen. We recently bought a stack of night shirts and he's been changing his shirt twice a day, one for bedtime and another for daytime use. It's helped some with him not asking about the laundry.

Me too. For once George wasn't asking about the laundry every ten minutes.

unless i missed my previous comment, i have missed this post in trying to catch up. so here i am commenting late on your posts again.
Hall and Oats is a good band. Even though people call it an old people band. I have always liked their music.
Its a pain for us to take out the trash too, since the cans they collect the trash from are a mile from our house. We live on a property with 7 other family houses (until we move back to our house). so when the weather is bad it gets overlooked and then we end up having to take it to the dump. Which is what we will end up doing tomorrow, we are having to take the last two weeks trash to the dump.
Again, I am sleep deprived and rambling, but hey it gives you something more to read and rspond too lol

I can understand how you feel on that. I've been having a few rough nights and My mind is in overdrive. I have a bunch of things I need to do and make sure I don't forget. George can't eat or drink anything until after Midnight, and can't start eating or drinking until I'm told otherwise tomorrow. On the plus side, over the past month, he's been grazing more and working on eating like he should.

I wouldn't want to deal with the rain & wind either, Looks Like we're
going to have to do laundry at the laundry mat ourselves being
hubby's water in the trailer isn't fixed & won't be till it warms up
enough for him to work on it, which won't be for a few more wks.

Well, I don't like paying the extra eletricity if I don't have to. But, the hard part was getting George to move the van. For some reason, he forgot we need a key in the van for it to start.
