Norwalk Connecticut firefighters answered an emergency call on Tuesday February 3 about a swan that needed to be rescued in the Norwalk River that was frozen due to cold weather outside. The firefighters used their cold weather suits to enter the river to reach the swan and take the animal to shore safely. The swan was then taken by first responders to the Veterinary Centers of America (VCA) and Emergency Center to be treated for injuries being in the icy river. The good news is that the swan has a great chance of making a full recovery in the near future. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...
