What do you wish you’d known before having kids?

I don't have kids. I never wanted kids. I joke that I'm "allergic" to them. But surely for all you parents here on myLOT you can think of things you wish you'd know before having kids. Like how much they cost. LOL! Or how to handle things when they start dating. Tell us what you wish you’d known before having kids.

None. Not because I know everything and I'm a perfect parent. No such thing. And we learn things along the way and I have no regrets. Always wanted to have s kid and it has always been in my prayer. One of my fears when I was young was not to be a mother. And I felt so blessed when I learned I was pregnant. I was ready to be a parent when I had my son so there's really nothing I wish I had known before becoming one.

No kids here and no regrets. It would be nice to have someone checking up on me; but who knows if they would even do that???
