My Laptop behaving weirdly

Of late, my laptop is behaving a bit weird - the LED indicator near power button at times goes RED, inspite of being fully charged. And after a moment, it automatically turns WHITE.
I am not a electronics guy, but on Googling, I got to know that it has to do something with battery, and probably the system is working overload in the background on switching the laptop.
While I understood the issue, how to get rid of it, is not known...or do I leave it as it is!!!

Fully charge your laptop to 100%, then allow it to discharge completely until it turns off. Charge it back to 100% without interruption
Update Drivers
Check for updates for your operating system and battery drivers in the device manager
Check for Overheating
Ensure the laptop isn't overheating, as this can also affect performance and battery health.
Inspect the Power Adapter
Ensure the charger is functioning properly and connections are secure.
Battery Health Check
If your operating system has built-in tools for battery health diagnostics, use them. Alternatively, third-party applications can help assess battery status.
Try all that
If it's still the same let me know

Hate to say it, but you may need a new battery to solve it
