What an Awesome Weekend!

Heyyy. I wanted to write about my awesome weekend. It’s going to be lengthy. My out-of-town bestie picked me up around 4:30 pm on Friday, and we hit the road to Philadelphia. It’s a little under a two-hour drive, but we did hit some traffic. We also stopped to pick up her friend/roommate from work (she was really nice), and then we all stopped by Wawa. If you read my previous posts, you already know that I got an XL cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper (fountain drink) as my free birthday beverage. My birthday was last month, but the freebie was still good until this week. Once we got home, I played with the kitties and texted home, and my friend ordered pizza. We caught some of Wheel of Fortune and watched all of WWE SmackDown, and then we went to bed. Saturday was going to be an early morning, and we were both tired anyway. We got up early on Saturday, but we had a meet and greet to get to, lol. I’m actually going to talk about the NKOTB event in a separate post. But anyway, we went to Dunkin, where I got hash browns and a hot vanilla coffee. Then we headed to the event for a few hours. After we met the guys, we left and went to the Dollar Tree and Urban Planet. At the Dollar Tree, I got hair ties, waste bags, and some vanilla drink mix for water. It’s new (to me), and I want to try it. My friend treated me to a pair of black fleece-lined leggings and Hello Kitty socks at Urban Planet. Everything was decently priced, and I really wanna go back at some point. After a bit of shopping, we went back to the event for the giveaways. We eventually left the event for the evening and went to Burger King. Then, we headed back to her house so I could pack up and say bye to the kitties. We hit the road for Baltimore, and when we got back to my house, she stayed for a short while to catch up with my family. We all love her. I lounged and tended to the dogs, all while being absolutely exhausted and on cloud 9 lol. I also stayed awake until my friend made it home from my place and my niece made it home from work. But I always stay awake until my niece is home from her evening shifts. It’s just what I do. On Sunday, my best friend here (the one I usually go out with) invited me to Walmart. She surprised me with a bracelet that says “F*ck Cancer,” and I love it. Lung cancer took my Daddy, as well as my aunt and grandmom, so yes, I approve of this message. I picked up a few things at Walmart, and then she dropped me off. I lounged (and napped), sort of watched the Super Bowl (I’m sorry, it’s more about the commercials and music for me), ate some yummy food (pigs in a blanket, woo), and played on my phone. I eventually got the dogs settled and went to bed. And here I am, working and MyLotting. I feel like today is going to be a productive one, which is a nice way to follow up such a great weekend.
