Depression isn’t always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it’s just waking up tired even after sleeping, losing interest in things you used to care about, or feeling heavy for no clear reason. It can make simple tasks feel hard and makes you feel disconnected from people, even when you’re not alone.
What makes it harder is that it’s often invisible, so others may not notice what’s going on inside.
I often experience this. People tend to think that I am jolly ok but deep inside, its not that ok.

I hope there is someone in your life you can talk to about this. A counselor, or at least a friend. If no one else, we are here.
I’ve suffered from depression since I was a child, but I never could hide it. Although, as an adult I do manage to keep it under wraps a little better. It’s still hard.

Yes, talking to someone may make things better. But there are times when depression becomes even deeper after talking to someone especially if that someone does not really care about what you're going through.
