My kids are 7, 9 and 11. I want to buy them an xbox type game system for Christmas, but I don't know the best system to buy. I want games that are age appropriate, which one do you suggest I get?

My youngest (9), has the GameCube and we've been happy with it, and it seems they have several age appropriate games. Another thing with Nintendo products is their games seem to stay compatible with their upgrades often.

I have no clue. The games my husband gets are from the movies we've seen like The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix. Our daughter is only 5 months, so we're not thinking that far ahead. Good luck with your search.

I don't know much about each system and the games they have. My son has a Game Cube (he is 7) and we have no problems finding age appropriate games for him.

I wouldn't buy the Xbox. I think Xbox and PS3 are geared more towards adult games. Try a Gamecube, or maybe the new Nintendo Wii! Nintendo always makes plenty of great games for kids.
