So I am down Chris's house sitting with her grandmother and I decided to do something different.
She bought this little farmhouse coffee table that actually lifts up to bring whatever your working on up to you and I never used it. That is until today. I can't seem to get comfortable so I decided instead of bending over to work on my computer I would use the lifty part. It's surprisingly well crafted and I'm about as comfortable as I can ask for.
Today is computer work while I'm here. I'm doing ok with that. Not as great as I was doing but it's still something.
I worked on the first session of CASA yesterday and got it done. The email is sent to our coordinator this morning and we're ready for session 2.
I worked on Chris's blanket yesterday and started on yarn roll number five. It's started so that made me happy.
This morning I not only packed up all my yarn sports in the extra back pack but I also packed the clay that I've been wanting to work with.
Oh and the ring materials I ordered through Patrick Adair came so I'm super excited to get working on that. It's the Liberty ring, I picked it because it's perfect for the upcoming Fourth of July.
Most of the shop is going to circulate around the Fourth of July this year. I want to do it up big. I'm still trying to get people into the shop but I'm hoping that will change too once the weather warms up.
I'm making my own walkway to the shop. It'll take time and some money but I think it'll be worth it in the end.
I finished The Accidental Runaway Groom by Carrie Ann Ryan last night. It was a short on e but I loved it all the same. That post will be coming up soon. There's a lot of reviews I need to do. I'm attempting one review on here for every book I read. Attempting is the key word because I get busy and forget a lot.
Tonight is R&R and I'm hoping that we can get a woman's month thing going and something for 9/11. I'm getting really tired of not being heard on this. It's been brought to my attention by a few females about women's month and I get asked constantly by other Fire departments...I have friends everywhere...if we do anything for 9/11.
It's time to be heard and I won't give up. This has been a year in the making and I'll keep fighting for it.
There's a lot going on in my head right now and I need to figure out how to translate it into life.
Tomorrow morning is my first CPR class. It's only two people but it's still my first class on my own.
Now I'm just babbling.
What's everyone else up to today?
Hopefully your weather is better than ours. It's chilly and rainy.

That's what people keep telling me lol. It should by all accounts go easy. At least one of the has already had CPR so with some luck we won't be there the full four hours.

Always so much to do. Cousin #3 and her family are coming over in a couple of hours for pizza.
