This is the second book in the Clover Lake series. They seem to be keeping with the novella style which I like. Novellas are small and give you a break from lengthy novels.
The first book was Always a Fake Bridesmaid which followed Ewan and Livvy. Such a cute story but you have to read it to know ;)
This one follows Sharp and Jamie. Super adorable. Definitely what you could consider a meet cute.
Sharp is supposed to be getting married, not out in the middle of nowhere with no way to get back to town. Drugged and kidnapped was not how the day was supposed to start.
Luckily for him some random jeep comes his way. Enter into his life, Jamie Montgomery. Hesitant at first until they figure out who each other is, she gets him to town and to the church...over an hour late.
The accidental runaway groom, such a scandal in a small town. In front of the town, his now ex-fiance labels him a cheater and runaway. His label now gives Jamie the label of homewrecker.
Beautiful way to introduce Jamie to a new town.
As time passes things die down a bit. Sharp and Jamie have been texting each other daily. Now she wants to go visit her cousin for a month.
One whole month at Clover Lake. With the McBrides. Around the one guy she probably shouldn't be around.
Small town drama. Unintentional falling. A torn heart. Stay or go.
So many questions and trust me Carrie Ann Ryan gives you the answers. You just have to read the book.
It can be read as a stand alone but why would you want to do that? Read the first book and fall in love with Clover Lake...then the men lol.

It's short so it goes through the month that Jamie is there pretty fast but it doesn't leave anything out. Like you don't feel like you're missing anything.
