Got the mail...

...but first I went out the opposite side of the complex and went up the street that's on the right side of the complex and up it until I reached the entrance to the dirt path. When I started walking on the dirt path, I could see a lady and her dog ahead of me. I always like to say hello to dogs on the path, but she was pretty far ahead of me and I didn't think I'd catch up. The dog kept stopping and sniffing, so I finally did catch up. It turned out, the lady knew me from around my old neighborhood. Awful thing was, she remembered me--and even my dog Angel! Unfortunately, I didn't remember her. I didn't have the heart to tell her that, though. She asked me where I was living, now, and I told her --"Over there" since the apartment complex is visible due to the fence that divides it and the dirt path is maybe 3.5-4 feet tall. We walked and talked a while until we got to the end of the trail, then she went her way and I went mine--which was back into the apartment complex to head to the mailbox. The only thing in it was a letter from a pen pal I have in Kenya. I will have to try to start a letter back to her this week. Now it's 4:55 p.m. by my computer clock, and my step counter says 6,772. I need to start thinking about dinner. I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
