Why fix it when it's not broken?

When I moved to this county almost four years ago we moved into an apartment and had no choice but to get the internet via this one company that was all the apartment complex was set up for. Several times the internet went down and the company did nothing about it other than do whatever on their computers to repair from their end. After over two years we had to move to a bigger apartment which was two buildings away on the next street and up a hill. We have had no problems with our internet here. But I get several times a month notifications on my phone every month that their technitions will be here doing repairs to our internet! While they are working on it, then is when our internet service keeps going off and on and I have to call and do a troubleshooting process. I called them yesterday and the man was very kind and said that he was going to take care of it because he agreed that there was no use fixing something that wasn't broken and then causing it to go off. He did! But I was asking him about something else. While I was on hold the internet went off again for about ten minutes. Irritating! Especially trying to explain to my 13 month old granddaughter why the movie (usually Zootopia) goes off! I have talked to other people such as neighbors and ones that work in the Apartment Office and their irritated too!

It's broken because you have several people trying to use it. The more people try to use a service, it's prone to overload and breakdown. So constant repairs are needed. It's annoying. If you have kids, you need to just download things for offline watching.

See it never breaks down till the company comes over here to repair something that I never reported!

@kaylachan That's my point it was never done before for the over 2 years we lived in the other building! Even the people at the office that live in this complex are saying it's annoying too. But it's like 4 to 6 times a month! That's crazy!

@dfollin tance When the complex made the internet company exclusive for the complex, they signed a contract. Part of that contract is routine maintaince on the equitment, and repairing things before they need reporting to keep the service up-and-running. When this happens, they might disconnect the internet so they don't get hurt. Hence you loose internet for a short while.
