We're going to Give it a Try

I know that I had said about venturing into soaps before and I am. This first step is kind of like dipping my toe in. I found a couple melt and pour recipes that I think I'll try. One is cranberry and one is blueberry. It's supposed to be really easy. Melt the soap base, add mica powder for color, add essential oil for scent and let cure. We'll see how it goes. Maybe this weekend. I don't have anything to do Saturday until 3 so maybe.

I have never tried to make soap. Maybe some day. I like small projects.

The melt and pour would be a small project. If you try from scratch it's longer

It sounds like an interesting idea. It also sounds kind of fun, and I like the scents you picked.

At some point I would love to actually do it from scratch but I don't know so many people get mad because you even ask for a place to start. They say do your own research but it's hard when you don't even know where to begin.

I would love to make my own natural and perfumed soaps. Hope it goes well!
