I just got home from church (Bible study) and it's 9:16 by my computer clock. After I write this and maybe check my email, I am going to bed.
One thing I have to say about this job, the time seems to go by fast. It seemed like I hadn't been there very long today and suddenly it was four o clock.
That is not a bad thing at all.
There's a lot to do there, so I'm guessing that's part of it.
Today I had this cute little girl come out of a classroom, and when she saw me she handed me a painting she'd done and said "I made this for you!" I'm not sure I'd met her yet, so I thought it was super cute. Not long after that her mother came to get her. The little girl points to me and says, "That's my new teacher!" Again, super sweet.
Tomorrow's another day, and then will come Friday, and I may get my first paycheck. I was told we were paid bi-weekly, and the teachers didn't get paid last week, so...
"Good night" from here, and I will "see" you myLotters when it's tomorrow here in California!

I can relate to that. Working with children will not make you realize where the time goes. Little ones are full of such cute surprises and that makes the job of the teachers so rewarding. Hope that you get paycheck tomorrow. Sleep well. I am done at school for the day. I am waiting for the assistant teacher who will give me ride today.
