Talked to a very nice lady from my insurance company and she explained everything very well. Starting 2026 even if you are Medically Needy if your script is on any Tier other than 1, you have a co-pay. I was told by the guy yesterday, that the money set aside for people like me was reduced this year. IMO this may be because of all the FRAUD they have found in Minnesota and California. I don't have facts to support how I feel, but from listening to the news it seems like that is the case. I am looking into who supported this bill. Probably take a while, but I have the time and I enjoy researching things.
Just wanted to let anyone on Medicare/Medicaid know what is going on with Co-Pays. Considering how expensive medications are...$5.10 co-pay on Tier 2 medications really is kind of fair..
