Sending off our granddaughter We're all emotional as we saw our granddaughter Stephanie entering the entrance of the airport for check in. She'll be going to MTC for Training as a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She'll be doing missionary work at Laoag Philippines Mission teaching the gospel. She has a companion to work on. In our family we have already 4 missionaries who had done their job and Stephanie is the 5th one. We will be missing here for 18 months. This is her unwavering commitment to serve the Lord: "I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord, Over mountain or plain or sea; I’ll say what you want me to say, dear Lord; I’ll be what you want me to be"

@Nakitakona I knew the Mormon church asked for mission work, but for some reason I thought it was a year.
