Emergency cash transfer for typhoon Tino victims
Typhoon Tino victims of 14 barangay (villages) in our small city received their financial assistance from the national government thru the CSWD.
It took 5 days to complete giving all the victims whose houses were severely and partially damage.
I was one of those recipients. It took me 5 hours to finally get my own share. I had to bear the scorching heat of the sun for we were outside the gym lining up waiting for our turn to be called up.
There IS no system to make the distribution easy as handled by the City Social Welfare Department. In fact in the first day, one person fainted and one died of cardiac arrest due to intense heat of the day.

Omg someone actually dying whilst waiting for money is awful.
Did they give you enough money to help you get by.
I hope the damage to your house was minimal
