What book or material did you read as a child that surprised people because it was beyond your age level?

As the books, i already forgot about it. But when I was in elementary I loved to read those old fashioned newspapers, the full english papers. Those kids my age, won't chose to read those, as they will findi it boring. i started early, as grade 3 or grade 2. Also after reading them before, i have cut outs of my articles, and paste them in a journal. Don't know where it is now.

My book report when I was ten was about a book demonstrating the different personality types (melancholy, choleric, sanguine…) and how to relate to others who are opposite types than you. It was a far cry from the student doing her book report on a Nancy Drew book.
