Good evening. Ordered delivery, managed to clean the countertop, so now I have counterspace to orgnize our food when it comes. If I keep it clean we'll get rid of the roaches. It's florida roaches are just part of life and while our house isn't a horder's paradice, it's not spotless either. George has his shoes on, and he's turned on lights ahead of our pending dinner. I also moved the knife block when I was cleaning so I can actually put the knives in it as I need them. I also made almost a dollar in cashouts, too doing one of my cash out every three hours apps. Every little bit helps and I'll have a couple more cashouts before bed. I'm also killing it on here. Four days and I'm about halfway to my first dollar. In the past it'd take me almost two weeks. Yesterday could've been better in terms of posting, but I'm not doing to bad.

I have to keep everything in the fridge and in containers in case the mice get out of hand again. Terminix has been doing a good job of keeping them under control; and we have blocked the gaps in the basement door.

That's good. I hope your food is in mouse proof containers, mice can chew through some containers.

@kaylachan In the past several months, I've only seen one mouse up in the house. They are getting trapped and dispatched in the basement. Terminix comes every 3 months to clean them out.

I just cashed out on one of those apps a few seconds ago, it was eighty seven cents, but its the second cash out I've done since today officcially started at midnight, so its a good little start to the weekend. At least when I can't sleep I can do something productive that doens;t; make noise and wake the rest of the house up. I hope the rest of the month is good to you!

Small Wins, Big Progress: Cleaning, Cashouts, and Keeping Florida Roaches Away
Clean Florida Kitchen Evening Scene Sometimes progress doesn’t look dramatic — it looks like a freshly wiped countertop and a little extra space to breathe. After ordering delivery, clearing and organizing the counter created room to sort food properly and reduce clutter. In Florida, where roaches feel like permanent residents, maintaining a clean kitchen countertop is one of the smartest defenses against unwanted pests. Consistency matters more than perfection. Turning on the lights early, moving the knife block for easier access, and putting tools back where they belong builds practical kitchen organization habits. These small systems make everyday life smoother and help prevent pest problems over time. Financially, the same mindset applies. Small online cashouts, even under a dollar, add up. Reaching halfway to a goal in four days instead of two weeks shows measurable improvement. Daily consistency beats occasional bursts of effort. Clean space. Clear focus. Steady income growth. That’s how momentum builds — one small win at a time.
