Tonight proves to be going fairly well. George and I had dinner. He ate about a quarter of what we were given and I have work to do tomorrow on the chicken tenders he asked for to make them easier to eat. He doesn't trust himself with a knife. I understand. I'm getting more confident as a result.
He wants to get back to what he used to do, but at the same time, he's more than happy with how things have gone so far. He's not trying to bite off more than he can chew.
He talked about taking the van out and going for a drive tomorrow. We'll see how it all plays out.

They say it can take years to recover from a stroke. A lot of it's willpower though. And he's got that in spades.
