Ya'll remember the black kitten I got from my neighbor just B-4 winter ? The 1 I kept in the cabin on a short rope to keep her from climbing on the rafters Cause I had her fixed ? Well she's not a kitten anymore & she has really mellowed out a lot. She isn't as rambunctious as she was & she loves going outside on her own she doesn't go far from the cabin & trailer, she sticks close by me if I'm outside doing something,& comes in when she feels like it, I have been thinking, being she's all grown up & sticks close to home what would be a good name for her? "Boo" isn't it. She's solid black, she sticks close to me I was thinking Sheba the black panther would that make a good name for her ? If you have something different give me some hints you would name a black cat.

She’s beautiful and reminds me of our Pitchou which can mean midnight in French. Sheba is a perfect name for your little black panther princess.

@DianneN I don't know why I didn't think of that when I had her fixed instead I went with Boo & now to Sheba.

Smokey sounds good, but if she was a grey color I could see naming her Smokey, thank you.

I think it fits her, she shines like a Sheba black panther.

Sheba is nice. My prior daughter-in-law had a pure black cat named Salem, after the black cat on Sabrina the teenage Witch. She was rambunctious and full of it, so she said it fit. Later, Salem mellowed out and she called her Sam or sally.
