I've found a way to get a discount on Amazon purchases

I'm one of those people who tries to get cashback and/or discounts on anything and everything I can. It's always been a frustration to me that there was no obvious way to get cashback or discounts on Amazon purchases, but I may have found a way now. I remember hearing some time ago about a website called Cardyard. I had a look at it at the time, but I didn't trust it so left it alone. I had another look yesterday, and I decided to give it a try. Cardyard is a "gift card exchange" - an online marketplace where people can sell their unused or part-used gift cards at a small discount. They can be physically posted to the buyers or the codes from them can be digtially downloaded. This includes Amazon gift cards, so I decided to buy the cheapest one as an experiment. Amazon giftcards were advertised at a discount of 3%. I bought a gift card valued at £2.24, and only paid £2.17. A small saving, but a saving. I also used a cashback credit card to pay for the purchase, so that's a double benefit. Once I'd made the payment, an email was sent to me with a link to the giftcard code. I then went on to Amazon.co.uk and entered the code to top up my account in the normal way. I already had £10 in my balance, so that made a total of £12.24. I spent most of that almost immediately on a book that I've had my eye on, with no problems. I'll have to use this site a few more times before I'm fully confident in it - probably I'll restrict myself to buying the cheapest Amazon gift cards they've got, so I'm not risking too much money at a time - and always use them to immediately top up my account But I make a lot of Amazon purchases, so anything that has the potential to save me money on there is definitely worth a try. They also sell vouchers for other online and offline businesses, including Tesco, but I buy supermarket gift cards from Topcashback and Quidco anyway. I live in Britain, and I'm not sure if this site is restricted to the UK only, or if it also works in other countries, but I expect there are probably also other gift card exchanges that people can look into.
