Lunch-ish: Homemade chicken alfredo. 24 grams of protein Snack: Chocolate/pumpkin spice protein coffee- 25 grams of protein Late night/dinner: 8 Great value dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets with 1/4 cup shaved parmesean cheese - 37 grams of protein That's a total of 86 grams of protein today! I think that's pretty good! I am going to try to get at least one protein shake/coffee in a day. I am also going to try to keep track of how much protein I get in each day and how much activity/excercise I am getting. Do you keep track of anything you eat? Protein? Sugars? Calories? For medical reasons or just because?

I just want to feel better, and my doctor told me last month to up my protein levels. I’ve been getting my share of cheese, milk, and eggs.

You should try the Built Puff Protein Bars, uhm. There are a lot of things that you can eat for protein that taste better than eggs and cheese.

I'm using an app called Cronometer to track my calories and other stuff (protein is on the list, I'm sure). It's similar to MyFitnessPal, but you can just scan the barcodes, and you don't have to search/input anything unless it's not in the system. So it's way easier. I'm tracking because I need to lose weight. I also want to feel more energized, and well, heart issues run in the family. I've been at least trying to snack healthier, so I need to move on to meals. I'm more open to trying different things now than before. Like I tried asparagus a few years ago, and I LOVE it. I just always forget to make it when I buy it.
