Raven Back out of Crosby Deal

For the past couple days Ravens fans have been excited about getting defensive end Maxx Crosby from the Raiders. We've lost five players so far and we had only gained, at least how it seemed at the time, one player. As of last night however, the team's dr failed Crosby's physical. Now he had a meniscus tear ending his season last year. After talking to his current doctor, he claims that Crosby is on track healing, possibly ahead of schedule. Crosby's agent says that he's going to return as a dominant player this year. Crosby is 28 years old and just came off his crutches last week. The Ravens were going to trade two first round picks for him and it's understandable to be cautious when it could cost us two new players and a huge salary. I understand the Crosby is now super mad because he was really excited to be in Baltimore but I have to say that I'm pretty relieved that we're keeping our first round picks. While Crosby's doctors say that he's healing well, you have to wonder what the Ravens doctors found there as well. *info from ESPN

I suppose it could be like when Drew Brees failed a physical with the Dolphins and the Saints got him instead. Maybe whomever ends up with Maxx will be that successful if he joins a new team.

They're hinting at the Cowboys but who knows. They also think the Raiders may just keep him. No one is saying he can't play. Everyone thinks he can but they're worried about the when he'd be able to play. They said that he won't be actually be able to hit a field until June.
