Looking for a Ring Lathe

So I'm starting to work on rings. Making them.....or well designing. I'm not even kidding myself that I could actually make the ring. I get supplies from a place called Patrick Addair supplies and I'm really excited to start this venture. However I'm looking at getting a lathe for the rings and I'm not sure where to start. They give you a link for this big old lathe and I'm not sure if I really want something that big but I do want one. Most of what I find though is for wood...specifically. Does anyone else work on rings? Do you just use a different holder for rings than for wood? Just trying to gather some info.
