I’m Feeling More Human Today

I haven’t posted this week, but I have been interacting, and I’ve told a few people that I haven’t been sleeping well this week. I couldn’t get comfortable or shut my mind off. I took one of my as-needed anxiety meds last night (I have a daily one and then the as-needed). I figured it’d calm my mind down and help me sleep. I still woke up off and on, but I definitely got more sleep than I have been. While I’m still a little tired, I’m feeling more human today. Monday and Tuesday were “fake it ‘til you make it” days. Today is more of a “let’s do this” day. I’m at the coffee shop, drinking more caffeine than necessary lol. But it’s whatever. My older sister is letting me use her insulated coffee travel mug, and you can bring your own to the coffee shop. I love the coffee here, but I don’t exactly chug it down. I like it to last throughout my work day, even though they offer free self-serve refills on drip coffees. The problem is, my coffee gets cooler during the day. So with her mug, it’ll stay warm, and I won’t have to get up to add any more. I’m eventually going to get my own. I do have a cute one from 7-11, but it’s not insulated. It’s gray with stars on it, though. We’re skipping trivia tonight. My niece and our friend have other plans. I was invited, but I’m okay with not going out-out. I do want to see if anyone wants to walk around the park with me after I get home. The temperature is going to drop back down to the 50s for a bit starting tomorrow, so I want to enjoy our 70-degree weather while I can. Okay, I need to get this writing order off the ground. I may or may not be back in a bit. We’ll see. Until then, stay safe and take care.

I wish I felt better. I’ve been struggling through some fake it til you make it days too.
