Yikes. It's 6:40 p.m. by my computer clock, and the little weather widget says it's still 80 degrees F. 
In a bit I'll go out and check the mail--and then come right back here.
Work today wasn't bad--although I didn't see the "to do" list for all of the teachers. One teacher did tell me that I was in charge of the sign in/out book today. And that went pretty well. 
I'm learning things bit by bit.
Right now I'm boiling water to make some rice. I'm over at the computer for the moment a few feet away from it, 'cause after all, a watched pot never boils.
I'm going to check it in a minute anyway, as it may be boiling right now.
