I tried learning french but I seems like a waste of time because I can't pronounce anything in french neither can I understand what it means. So I tried learning Yoruba, I think am doing well with that.
What of you? Have you ever learned a new language ?

I always wanted to learn Spanish as it is the second most spoken language in the United States. Unfortunately, I never did, and I seriously doubt I ever will. I can count to ten in Spanish, and sing Jingle Bells in Spanish, but that’s it. A lady in our church from Mexico taught it to my sister and I as children.

@agusta123 I learned Tumbuku as a child when I lived in Malawi. My first degree was French and I’ve also learned Irish (fairly well) and can pass myself (!) in Italian.

I am fluent in sign language……I went to college and passed stage 1 and stage 2 exams. I spent nearly 20 years working with hearing impaired children.

I speak French fluently.
Learned at school
Have been to France a few times and found I could actually use what I learned

The thing is just that it is very difficult to even pronounce a word, let alone understanding what it means.
Was yours difficult?
