It's time to scrimp and save... again

I'm thankful that we've got enough provisions (for now) and the financial stability to survive the rising inflation. Nonetheless, if the tension in the ME ensues, harder times will come and supplies will be scarce. I'm not too worried about food shortage yet, but I'm very concerned about energy supply -- especially since our region has officially entered the dry season.
Apparently, our country's oil reserves are good for only about 45 days!? Oh me, oh my. So now we'll have to beg Russia and South Korea for fuel. Whatever and however the deal, I'm praying that we'll get enough fuel and that power outages won't be too frequent while the heat is upon us.
The last time I checked, prices of goods at the supermarket are mostly the same. My husband and I now shop at Puregold to better stretch our usual budget for groceries. I go to Landers (membership shopping) if I want to get some stuff by the bulk or toiletries on sale. I go to the wet market for fresh produce. It's still cheaper at the market.
I haven't done any panic buying or hoarding -- although I often get the urge to stock up on tissue paper, cotton buds, rice grains, and pasta.
I'll have to make an inventory of our supplies soon.
How's the price of fuel in your area? Ours has gone up 120%. Unbelievable.

Oh my! It's dreadful. I've heard from another person that there have been power outages in Romblon and other provinces in the VizMin region too.

It's sad how the whole world has been dragged into this war.

The rest of the world has been dragged on because of the maniac on charge of America and the maniac war criminal murderer in charge of Israel
As it stands

Wow, 120% is a lot. I’m glad to hear you are making it okay for now. Our gas prices have gone up, but I don’t believe anywhere close to that. The prices for groceries are hurting us though. I know I’m not the only one having this issue though.

It's hurting many of us who live paycheck to paycheck. Last week, increase rate was at 97%.
