Hello, all!
It's 7:14 p.m. by my computer clock.
I'm home a little later tonight because the lady who usually drives me home wasn't there, and my boss offered to drive me home as long as I didn't mind waiting a while. I decided I would rather wait than pay $12+ for a Lyft.
There were two children left there, a bother and sister. Both were older than the kids I work with--I think my boss said they were in 1st and 3rd grade, but I could be wrong.
They had been working with polymer clay, and the boy sculpted what turned out to be a fish (which he named "Frank (or Fred?) the fish with socks"), and then a little pet snail ("Jerry the snail").
The kids' father came to get them, and the boy wanted to finish the fish, so he waited, and the girl was what my Mom would have called "rummy", as I'm guessing she was tired, and definitely was acting really silly.
My boss closed up and the girl kept being goofy and delaying her dad a bit from leaving. My boss said her car was open and I could go and get in. I did want to get home, but I figured that my boss was nice enough to offer to drive me and not make me pay the money for a Lyft, so I didn't complain.
When I got home, I ran into my neighbor just coming home from walking her dog (the chihuahua/French bulldog mix), and after my boss left, here comes the guy who lives upstairs with his pitbull, and because my neighbor had taken him to work today, I kid you not, the pit was wearing a white collar and black tie.
After they went in, my neighbor who lives across from me and directly below the previous two dogs and their mom/dad with her dog, so I got to say hi to her, too.
Right now, I'm baking the little bear I made from the clay--I'm hoping that I've got the right timing--I looked it up on line since I didn't have the instructions. Hopefully he'll turn out okay.
More cuteness happened earlier than that, but that's for another post.
Now I am going to watch some T.V. and get something ready to take to work tomorrow.
I hope you are all doing well in your part of myLot land!

I would have waited for the ride to save money too. And I love the picture. It also sounds like you got a serotonin boost from seeing those precious dogs! I know I do just by being around my Sadie. And, yesterday I got the biggest kick at my doctor’s office. A staff member brought her Dalmatian to work so you can imagine how excited I was!
