Too much?

When Instagram was a small community, exclusively for iOS users only, and most users were artists, I had fun sharing photos inspired by them as well.
It wasn't flooded with selfies, unless it's an artistic one, nor was IG used to advertise anything. Then Meta bought it and the change made majority of my artist friends from different countries left.
Now people post almost anything and everything without thinking of the risks. Posting too much information. Sometimes cringy ones. It's not fun anymore.
How much is too much?

You don't like instagram now because it's totally different than the one that wasn't owned by meta. It was the perfect platform for me then. Not even celebrities.

You have your reason why you're not there. I was really into photography and it was the platform that I find perfect for what I enjoyed doing. But that was back then.

@toniganzon I’ve thought about joining before, but I’m rarely even on Facebook. I’ve seen the photography shared there though, and it showed a lot of beauty. I’m sure what you shared was very impressive. Everything you do is filled with quality.

In the old instagram, it was purely photographs. Now It's just like TikTok.

Lol yeah, IG isn’t what it used to be. Now it’s just everyone posting everything without thinking. We can't do anything about that.Just follow the people who actually inspire you and scroll past the rest or leave IG. Life’s too short to get worked up over random feeds. I have an IG but I'm not really active.

it has slowly become Facebook already in 2012. So different from how it was before it was acquired by meta. Now it has never stopped evolving and the interface too has changed.

My IG is private. Unless it's a close friend of mine, nobody can see a single pic of me nor message me.
