At least I got the steps in...

Did Bible study, and then went out on the patio and read some of my library book.
After that I went to get the mail, and to get more steps I went down the street to the south east of the complex and walked until I got to the opening where the dirt trail is. Before I got to the opening, I realized that I had my phone, but not my mailbox key.
I got to the gate that leads back into the (back of) the complex, walked past my mailbox, and went home to get my key. After that I walked back to the mailboxes and unlocked my box, only to find that there was nothing there. Oh, well. There were no bills, and like the title says, "At least I got the steps in".
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land, and that maybe you got something pleasant in the mail today.

This resonates with me because I really do need to start getting some steps on before our holiday season starts.
I have hardly done any walking over winter at all

I forgot about the mail until my husband said something about an hour ago. It'd been raining later in the evening, and I don't always check the mail. I'm sure George will make sure I check it tomorrow.
