Record numbers of republican lawmakers are retiring ahead of midterms

It is believed than no less than 35 republican lawmakers have retired from the congress this year and the excuse they give most times is that they want to give way for younger generations. Most people believe they are afraid of losing in the midterms elections before the end of the year , hence they prefer to walk the path of honour by retiring.
