One Quick Obsession is the continuation of Cage Family series. It's the fourth book in the series and it was one of my favorites. Hudson Cage is an artist but also in his way a recluse. He has his reasons, not that he's ever explained himself to anyone. Not even to his own family. Scarlett has things going on in her life that she prefers to keep to herself. Like an agoraphobic mother, an abusive ex, an abusive father and the compulsive need to be perfect so that no one doubts her. Lets add that both Hudson and Scarlett hate each other. At least that's what they think they feel. A couple of mistaken run in's and what they thought they felt toward each other start to shift. Can they somehow heal each other and find their way to a happy ending? I loved this book! To see their character arc was amazing and it kept me hooked. Scarlett thought that Hudson kept saving her but she kept saving herself. A strong female character. You can read these as a stand alone but they're just better if you read them in order.
