My newest read is Devious Little Liars by Elle Thorpe. I kept finding little snippets on Tick Tock and Facebook so I decided to jump and get it on my kindle. Next step will be paperback but I didn't want to wait. When I decide something, I tend to jump. I'm about 20% through the book and I have to say it started pretty good, got a little slow and it seems to be picking up again. It's got some mystery to it, there's supposed to be some romance and definitely supposed to be enemies to lovers. Also high school based. Private school girl Lacey goes public to try to find the person who murdered her uncle and the boy that saved her life when her school catches on fire. That right there catches your attention right....let's see if we can keep that going until the end of the book ;)

Sounds interesting, but I'm curious why you would buy the book if you can read it on your kindle?

I like my actual books. To be able to hold them and go through them. I try to just go through my favorites on my kindle and it's just not the same. I'm in the process of making a library right now.

@JordanLader I did that, too. My dad had a big collection of books, and I thought it was cool, so I amassed a lot of books over the years. Now that I'm older, it's just a bunch of stuff to deal with, and a lot of them I've never even read, so I'm in the process of getting them all read and out the door except for the few I might want to keep for reference or inspiration, like art books. I really should have known that was going to happen after my parents passed and none of us kids really wanted all those books!

@AliCanary I lost my grandmother in November and my dad in October. We kept their books and they'll go up when I get to that part.
