Well that didn't work out...

Here I'm thinking I can go over to the grocery store, get money orders, and pay my rent before work. Nope. I get over to the store and no one was at the customer service counter. I asked if someone would be coming, and was told that the customer service counter doesn't open until nine, which is when I'll be heading to work. I was also told, though, that it will be open until eleven this evening, so I plan on going there tonight after work and getting the money orders. * * * * * * * Walked away from the post for a bit because I got a text that I wanted to answer. While I was at the store, I bought some TP, which I needed. I went to the self-check out and paid, and then when I turned to leave one of the store clerks saw me and said, "What is that?" To which I answered, "Toilet paper, believe it or not. It lasts a few months." (which made me think that I should write down the day I bought it and note when I use up the last roll just to see how long it actually does last. I'm guessing I'm close to right.
