Well that didn't work out...

Here I'm thinking I can go over to the grocery store, get money orders, and pay my rent before work. Nope. I get over to the store and no one was at the customer service counter. I asked if someone would be coming, and was told that the customer service counter doesn't open until nine, which is when I'll be heading to work. I was also told, though, that it will be open until eleven this evening, so I plan on going there tonight after work and getting the money orders. * * * * * * * Walked away from the post for a bit because I got a text that I wanted to answer. While I was at the store, I bought some TP, which I needed. I went to the self-check out and paid, and then when I turned to leave one of the store clerks saw me and said, "What is that?" To which I answered, "Toilet paper, believe it or not. It lasts a few months." (which made me think that I should write down the day I bought it and note when I use up the last roll just to see how long it actually does last. I'm guessing I'm close to right. Nearly time for me to head out again. Have a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!

Hi Stacey Why was the store clerk asking what you had and had just paid for ? It didn't last a long time in our house.

Because it was in three huge rolls, and if you didn't know what it was already, you would wonder. Also, I was at the self-check out area, so there was no cashier. The lady who asked what it was was just in the area to help people should they have a problem with the self-checkout machines.

@xstitcher Here at the self checkouts The staff only speak when the red light goes on They don't ever seem interested unless they think someone might steal
