Did You Know That Kangaroos Can Hop Up to 45 MPH?

Kangaroos are wonderful creatures. I had so much fun petting them when I visited a wildlife preserve in Brisbane, Australia and seeing them at the Zoo in Sydney. In short sprints, red kangaroos can hop at 45 miles per hour. They can sustain a speed of about 25 mph for over a mile. They hop well due to having elastic tendons in their hind legs.

I did not know that ….its the sort of fact I remember as I watch a lot of quiz programmes ….that would be a great question.

What I know about kangaroos from cartoons and entertainment shows is that are very good in fighting skills.
