Mondays Seem to be When Mother-in-Law Has Meltdowns

This is the third Monday in a row that called us around 6 pm after her dinner and had a meltdown over the phone. She's saying again that someone stole something from her room, which they didn't. This time she's saying it's two blouses from her closet. She has so many clothes and has given so many away that she would have no idea what blouses she did or didn't have. She's saying two women residents there don't like her. She's saying she hates it there and just wants to die. Then 30 minutes into the conversation and she's all happy and saying she won the Easter Egg hunt and that made her happy. Sigh. It's just like this for people with Alzheimer's. I always include a pink photo with posts about MIL because her favorite color is pink.
