First day at work

This is basically for anyone who has done any type of work in their lives before.
How can you narrate your first day at work?
Mine was a disaster, I could barely focus.
It was just terrible.
What about yours was it cool, or were you a bit worried about finishing the day on a good note?

My first day as a clerk in A local company was boring. I didn't want to work as an employee, I wanted to have a small business of my own. I kept trying and now I'm the owner of a grocery shop. Now I earn more than twice my salary as an employee. Now I'm my own boss.

@augusta123 Thank you. By nature I don't like to be under someone's orders. I like to work as I wish.

It was a long time ago but I remember that there was a mixture of nervousness and excitement. I stay 26 years so it was very enjoyable.
