There was a general elections in the country, and I voted in the elections. I skipped voting last time because I did not like any candidates contesting in the elections from my constituency. Since we don't have an option for "none" I skipped voting. Apart from this one, I have always voted in elections? Do you vote?

I vote every time
People who don't vote should shut up and not complain about the government
Maybe if they had voted then government would be different
I hear people complain about this and that
I ask them if they voted, and why not
" Couldn't be bothered"
Well thats their problem,

Well... Maybe there don't like the candidate.
It not their fault anyway that they didn't vote.
They all have choice to vote for anyone of their choice.

Here candidates usually represent one of the political parties
I do agree though that there should be a " none of the above option"
But to have that, I think then that everyone would have to vote.

I agree but in the same way disagree, everyone has their rights to vote for who they want to vote for. Don't you think so?

Yeah, in my country they pay people to vote for a particular candidate and if you don't they'll shoot you.

I vote in every election. If I don’t like any candidate, and don’t even feel like I can pick the best of the worst, I leave that one blank, and go on to another question or person of which to vote.
I also vote absentee, so I have my ballots sent to me through the mail. Because they are always sent to me, I never miss an election.

Absolutely. If you don't vote, you shouldn't complain about an election's outcome.

@augusta123 Yes. Every time. That's why I said "absolutely" in answer to your question.

I could not vote the last time as I was in USA doing my LLM with scholarship. Now in India I had to fill up new form 6. Although I have submitted my papers justifying by home address and Indian citizenship, my name is not enlisted in the voters list. Once enlisted i will vote.
