It's Too Early This Tuesday

So once again we had the alarm set for 3am and didn't get up until about 3:30. It's 4:16 now and my husband left for work about ten minutes ago. That leaves me here...to do computer work. Yup, I do start the computer work now so I don't have as much to do when I get to Chris's house in a few hours. Doesn't feel like a few hours but that is what it is. I leave the house around 8am so yeah. I do get to go pick up my notary bond and items today. I'm super excited about it, state farm called me yesterday that it was in and once I pick that up I can go to the complex and pick up my book and stamp. I figure $25 per page I have to stamp. I tried to look it up but no one is really clear on a base to charge. I worked on my hubby's blanket yesterday. There's only three more lines left but that's four rows per row so I have ten rows left to do technically. I'm super excited to get it done though and I think I can. After that it's the stars and I have no idea how I'm going to do them. I didn't make the sausage balls or the gummy bears yesterday. After the dentist I was a little out of it. Even with the numbing, there was pain and I was hungry but couldn't eat so the whole being in the kitchen thing went out the window. The bedding got changed yesterday though and the rest of the laundry was finished. I even cleaned up the bathroom and some of the random stuff that was cluttering the bedroom floor. So it was productive even though I didn't feel like it once I got home. Today I have to work for Chris sitting with her grandmother. It's not a bad way to earn some money it's just boring. Like she stays in her room most of the time and all I do is make her lunch. She's not one that needs help with everything. I get why Chris wants someone there but at the same time grandmom only really needs checked on I think. Who am I to judge though, I was over protective of my dad. Once I get home we have time to take quick showers and eat something before we have the Rescue Squad meeting. It's never long but we don't miss a meeting unless we absolutely have to. I enjoy these meetings as I get a little more respect here than I do in most places. If we can get done reasonable I think it'll be an early night tonight. These 3am wake ups are killer. I know he says I could go back to sleep but I don't. We didn't get the training done for CASA last night we rescheduled. She wants to do this in person if possible so I have to figure that out. We have this one more session and then we have to observe a court session and that's that. We can officially start being CASA volunteers. Everything right now is bittersweet. Things are looking pretty positive but at the same time I wish they were both here to see it all work out. So I'm happy but sad at the same time. The dentist asked how I was yesterday and really I didn't know how to answer. What do I say? Sad-Happy? It's a very confusing time right now but we'll get through it. What is everyone else up to today? It supposed to be a nice day today so I'm looking forward to it. There's always so much to do, the weather makes me slow down a little and enjoy it.
