Cleaning of the Litterbox

The litter box is in the master bathroom in a corner. I use the pine wood, so there is never ever any odor of anything. I clean it 2 times a day. In the morning and the evening. Two cats share it, but, it's a very large box. My male never buries his poop, so the female goes in and does it for him. Hhahahhahha. She loves to go in it just the second after I clean it.

I clean out my cat litter about once a week. i only have one cat so it doesn't get too dirty. If I happen to forget to clean her litter she will pee on the floor or in the box and then wipe her paws on my bed. I keep the litter box in the corner of my room.

We smell it from miles away and that would be the time to change it.

I have six litter boxes. They have to be cleaned everyday and by that I mean scooped out. I always put baking soda in them. It seems to help with the odor. Now I completely change them at least once a week sometimes twice, which includes washing them out. My cats have been known to use the bathtub of all places, to go if I get lazy with their boxes. Its easier to clean than the rug.lol. Location...2 in my boyfreind's workshop, one right here next to me(stupid idea lol),one in the bathroom and 2 out in the hallway. Its a lot of work but I love my cats,all 13 of them.

I get the scoopable litter so I scoop out the mess every other day, because i have 2 cats, I never had any of them pee on the floor. My litterbox is located in my laundry room.

We have many cats so we have 2 litter pans. We clean them out nightly. Scoop them out I should say. They let us know if it's not cleaned. They bug us by meowing at us. We have them in the front closet near the door to the house is. We just keep the closet door open for them and that way it's out of sight but they can get to it easily.

Ours is in our basement. I clean ours out every time I take a load of clothes to the basement to wash, so that's pretty often! lol! We have two cats and two litter boxes. They each have their own and will not use each others! It's actually pretty funny because they are side by side yet you never see them in each other's litterbox! lol!

Our 2 litterboxes (we have 4 cats) are located in the laundry room where we have a kitty flap cut out in the door for them to go in and out. My husband cleans them everyday. However, occasionally he'll miss and our "Grand Dame" white. fluffy 11 yr old will pee on the floor next to it to let us know Her Majesty was not about to put her pure white paws into the overfilled box.

I clean out my 1 kitty's litter box once a week. No he will not pee on the floor just make a huge mess with his litter. And his box is located in the kitchen right next to the downstairs bathroom.

I don't have a cat, but I do have some litterboxes here. :) I've got rabbits. I try to clean the litterbox at least every other day. One of my rabbits will purposely pee on the floor if it's not clean. The other is good and uses it even if I've been too sick to keep it up to my standards. The litterboxes are located in their areas because rabbit litterboxes have hay on top and that gets messy when it's all over the house.

Im not a cat person, but I had a friend while in college that was! Lord the first time I went to her house, I was shocked! She had, like one person I saw post, 6 of them! She had one for each cat. Now she kept the boxes cleaned, said she cleaned them twice a day, but it didnt help the smell in her house. Sne had them in a closet that should have housed a washer and dryer in a hallway of her house. Having that many cats, how do you keep them off the kitchen table or counter tops? Im sure people are not home 24hours a day keeping them under control. My aunt had one cat and the house was full of hair. How many cats do you have?
