I waited until 5:30 to type this up. I was tired and freezing. I am still tired and freezing lol. Yesterday was a good day. I worked in the shop all day and got a lot of Mother's Day stuff done. I have a good feeling about this and it's going to be awesome. Today I work for Chris so I will be leaving here around 8. Hubby said go ahead and get my Daily Grind fix today. I have a coffee addiction and they have some great coffee. I am so close to finishing hubby's blanket. There is one more set of four left to do and it's all black then I have to figure out the stars. By the way, when burning yarn, not like a candle. You can not wet your fingers and just put it out, just saying. I learned the hard way last night as my husband laughed at me, yes laughed. I have everything I need to make a ring too. I'm really excited to do that, I just wanted to focus on Mother's Day yesterday. I would take it with me to Chris's but I don't know for sure how much of a mess it'll make so better to leave it home. I will be taking the usual things though. The latchhook dragon I still need to finish, Chris's blanket, Kristie's blanket and the bracelet that I started. Of course I don't get to work on everything but sometimes I get to work on something. Tonight I don't get to come home. At least not for a while. I have a sale at 3:30 then he wants to go do early voting and then we have training at 5:30. It's not a required training but it will be useful. I'm skipping inservice tonight for it knowing that the inservice will be covered when I take my advanced class in the fall. Though it's not official yet, I have faith that I'll be in it. It is now the season that football is on the TV almost all day. We have the draft coming this weekend, well, starting Thursday and I'm super excited. Rumor has it Odell Beckham Jr has practiced for his former team the New York Giants. We'll see what happens. I need to get reviews done today. It's the official release of Carrie Ann Ryan's new book Crossroads, book two of the Ashford Creek series. I'm currently reading Breathe by Abbi Glines. I haven't read the past few days because I've been busy and I worked on his blanket. Everything is progressing pretty decent. After training on Saturday we're debating on going to Murfreesboro or just going into Cookeville. I just wanted an hour or two that wasn't about work in any way. I may get it and I may not as there really is a lot to get done. It runs through my head a lot lately but we'll get there. What is everyone else doing today? I'm wearing two hoodies and I'm still cold so that should tell you how my morning is going lol.
