Whenever you go inside the lobby of the Manila hotel, 8 big iconic chandeliers will welcome you. These fixtures has been there since 1970s. It is made up of native capiz, brass and crystals. The hotel itself was built in 1909 but still elegant and classy up to now. I wonder how do they clean those chandeliers?

When my mom bought our house, there was a crystal chandelier that was hanging on the second floor. I was amazed by how beautiful it was. But yeah, it was very difficult to clean. It had to be taken down and the house help had to elaborately clean every single crystal.

I have 7 chandeliers in my house and 1 in my condo. They aren’t difficult to clean if you have a trick to do so. I have a professional cleaner clean our large one in our family room, because we have 12 foot high ceilings. Way too high up for me to clean. That’s a beautiful chandelier in your photo. Great shot!
