Now I had to admit that I didn't know what a Steller's Sea Eagle was. I really only know the American Bald Eagle.
These birds are originally from eastern Russia, more specifically around the Sea of Okhotsk and on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
In the wild they eat a lot of salmon, naturally because they live near the sea, but at the zoo the zookeepers feed them mice, herring, and even rabbits.
I read that the Steller's sea eagle is one of the largest and heaviest eagles in the world growing to 3 1/2 feet long with a wingspan of 6-8 feet. They can weigh up to 21 pounds.
Here's a link to the nest cam to watch the baby eagle in the nest.

Please be aware, you may see prey carcasses during feeding times.
I thought that was obvious.
Is this like a " some viewers may find this distressing" warning
I like Eagles.
We have some here in Scotland.
Golden I think but not really sure
