There is fun is seeing the betel plantations from covering

In Orissa in some of the university premises the authorities have planted betel or paan. It is known that the betel leaves plantations cannot tolerate sunshine. The bamboo would be an effective barrier to stop direct sunlight getting to the plants A.very good idea.

That’s interesting, I didn’t know that. Makes sense they need that kind of covering if they can’t handle direct sunlight. It must take a lot of care to grow them properly.
