I've Returned to The Coffee Shop.

Hey there, everyone. I didn't have the chance to post until now, but I returned to the coffee shop today. I'm perfectly content being here, too. I think I just needed a few days to myself, just to recharge. If you read yesterday's posts, you know I spent most of Monday working on a rush order for a client I've never worked for before. When I went to bed last night, my order was with the editor. I checked the status update this morning, and it's all the way at "customer review," which means the editor didn't need me to make any revisions. Now, I just need to see if the actual client needs any revisions and whether or not they accept the order. The deadline for them to accept is 5/12, but with it being a rush order, I hope to hear something sooner. Other than a few very short orders, work was slow on my main platform today. But it's the end of the month, so I'm not surprised. I used my time wisely, though. submitted a few writing proposals on the other platform, so hopefully I'll be accepted for at least one of them. I'm especially hoping to be accepted for the last proposal I submitted because I have a clear vision of how I want to write their blog post. We'll see if they accept/reject or if they never check back. I figured it couldn't hurt to try, though. Before anyone asks, blog idea proposals are when a client lists their information, like their company website, and you provide an idea for a blog post, along with details and your rates. If they accept, the job is yours. I also cleaned up my work notes, mostly where I record my payments, a bit. I've been putting it off, but since I have the time, I figured I'd get it done. Once work picks back up next week/month (if not tomorrow), I'll keep putting it off. So now, it's done. If work doesn't pick up tomorrow, I'm going to head back to the coffee shop and work on my HubSpot Academy courses. I need to study and retake my SEO Certification quiz because it has expired. I'm also in the middle of an Email Marketing course. I could do those at home, but I'd rather go to the coffee shop. I'm a little old school and take notes via pen and notebook, so I'll have more room. I also want to post on here and another writing/discussion platform, and maybe catch up on survey websites. If work picks up, maybe I'll do some of these things over the weekend. I mean, surveys can be done on my phone in the evenings, depending on how I'm feeling after a day of work. I've also been updating my NKOTB fan blog/Instagram, and I have my posts planned for the rest of the week, because a girl's gotta have a hobby, haha. I never got around to journaling last night, so maybe tonight. I'm not sure yet. I didn't sleep well, so we'll see how I'm feeling when bedtime rolls around.
