Good Thursday morning

Good morning everyone, it is most definitely a better morning than yesterday. I am still not feelin 100% however I don't feel like I got run over by a truck and I can keep my eyes open. Yesterday I didn't get much done at all. Pretty much how it has been the past two days. Today however that's going to change. I have computer work to do today as I am still trying to save up for my husband's drum set. I'm getting there and I'm super excited about it. He gave his up when we had first moved down because one we ran out of room with my books and two we needed bill money. Due to those two things he sold his drum set and he never regreated it but I've always felt bad. I'm also adding things to the shop. With so many holidays coming up I'm really pushing it. I have Grad pictures frames coming in to put up now. No year so I don't have to worry about over stock of them. They really are neat so I'm hoping they get the attention they deserve. I checked in with our friend Terry yesterday as he has officially left the department. He says that he's adjusting to his new normal and he was telling me about getting his small business off the ground. He got a laser engraver and is setting up to try to launch his own business. I wish him the best and he's excited, I only feel a little guilty about getting my own engraver but there's so much I want to do that I really want one. I'll be spending tomorrow in the shop and the library. I have a lot of rearranging to do. We added two small bookcases and then when I get this big one cleaned out here we'll take this one up. That will be the end of the room. I won't be able to do anything else until I can fix pop's floor or I can get rid of the couch. Book lists are still in progress. I'm slowly updating my paper files on my books. This will now include playlists as authors are now including those. I love it because it's like every time you hear the song you can think of a certain scene you like or one you associate with the book and it's like reliving it. We have a lot to do but we'll get it done. It's just going to take time and prioritizing. Oh yeah and money lol. We're working on planning for a yard sale so we can do just that. We have so much and the plan is that once we're done with the yard sale all the left overs will go in Gram's shed. Nice and organized. It's the plan. Then of course there's the usual stuff. The house needs vacuuming and with pulling stuff down off the bookcases there is so much dusting to be done. Not to mention the laundry and the lawn care. Honestly I'm excited for my husband to get after that honeysuckle. I already told him that's all on him as I can't stand it. Not that he cared mind you, I don't think he's liking it either. Honeysuckle has one strong scent. We're still looking at the rest of the year to get Gram's house re-organized and this house fixed up. We're hoping when he gets hired on permanently that his insurance will have some help with adoption and maybe infertility treatments. We've been looking into things like that and fostering. There's still some work to do so we're just getting info and looking forward to the future. What is everyone else up to? The morning here is chilly but it warms up a bit in the afternoon.

Oh we're not. The drum set is going to come from working online. All gift cards maybe a little from a paycheck but I'm not stressing out. I'm quite happy with our financial situation right now. I'm even confident that we can handle the new truck payment my husband is going to lay on us lol. Budgeting is key and as long as we stick to it we're doing pretty decent. We even have a savings! lol It's great for now.
