The numbers are staggering. 86 errors in his big league career. The arm, they said managers would fine them if they tried to run on Yadi. I am rounding up but 16, 900 chances and only 86 errors. Most of those was him pressing, trying to save the team so to speak. He had no business trying to do such a thing but like a quarterback in football to get the team motivated to do what they do. That's why Cardinals fans want him as manager over Pujols, who was another genius baseball player, but Yadi had whole pitching staff in a regular season one season. Earned run average was high 2.99 for starters and low 3,00 for relievers. He gets hurt in playoffs and ERA ballooned to 5. I have never seen a catcher have so much impact on a team than Yadi. He was the definition of heart and soul and showed when Pujols left. They still were pretty good, Angels not so much. Sorry big buddy.

Yadi would be an excellent manager for your Cardinals due to his knowledge of the game.
