I would like to think its because everyone goes to them first. Its kind of true, they go for knowledge of whats happening in industry and people just like to compare now with what they did. If you a reasonable person, its no disrespect to anyone. People want to see whats next for punk after Rancid and bands like Bad Religion and Social Distortion. Catching the world on fire, can you back it. or get it back Point goes to why you need bands like Rancid, Bad Religion and Social Distortion. They caught the flames so you could try to set the world on fire. They loved every minute but like they were taught. They knew it would fall short. Still neat and fun to watch. We some cruel people and I always thought was to make us better, but that is bs. This makes us worse. There is no tough love, its just you do not like something , be a jerk to it fails.
